     此次“别•性”展览结合“多元、平等、实验、性别”的主题，自2008年开始征集作品，囊括了众多背景迥异的艺术家之作。而作品本身通过多种形式和媒介的凝合，突破一贯形式界限，而这一过程在无形中也形成一种隐喻：“性”中之“别”并不是你死我活的斗法，恰恰是共处于一世的难得机缘。
The "DIFFERENCE • GENDER" art exhibition features the theme of "Diversity, Equality, Experimentation, and Gender." Starting in 2008, the exhibition has collected works of art from a group of artists with vastly divergent backgrounds. By merging various forms and media, the art work in the exhibition has broken free from the traditional bounds of form. This process became, in a way, a metaphor for the theme of the exhibition: that the "DIFFERENCE" in "GENDER" does not entail fights to the death, but rather the serendipitous chance to live together in one world.


     作品题材均与LGBT群体（男女同志、双性恋、跨性别者）有关，将生活于这个社会中的某种程度上的弱势群体的生活展现出来，无论是其本身，还是对于其他大众，都是一次更多了解自我了解他人的机会，相信这次展览能激发更多人的大爱，及包容。


The works all address issues related to the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) community. They showcase the lives of a group of marginalized people in society. This is an opportunity to gain better understanding of self and others, for both LGBT people and the rest of the public. We believe that this exhibition will inspire people to love, to tolerate, and to accept.






交通：
路线1：从大北窑国贸(地铁东南出口附近，国贸桥下方)乘坐938支9到宋庄小堡村的美术馆站，向里步行200米的灰色建筑即是平民电影工作室。或930支线到燕郊，宋庄大门下。
路线2：乘坐地铁八通线到“通州北苑”站下车，转乘2路到宋庄小堡村下车，下车后从路北“中国宋庄”的大门进入，一直向北走至艺术园区，看到一幢红色的建筑即是宋庄美术馆（或在北苑乘坐938支9）。

DIRECTIONS:
First Route: Start from Da Bei Yao World Trade Center (near the subway station's southeast exit, below the World Trade Center bridge). Take bus route 989--branch 9 to Song Zhuang Town Xiao Bao Village, and get off at the "Art Museum" stop. Walk in for 200 meters to the gray building, which is the Citizen Film Studio. Or, take bus route 930 to Yan Jiao, and get off at the "Song Zhuang Front Door" stop.

Second Route: Take the subway Ba Tong line to the "Tongzhou Bei Wan" station. Change to bus route 2, and get off at Song Zhuang Xiao Bao Village. Then enter the front door of "China Song Zhuang" on the north side of the street. Walk straight to the north to the Art Garden District, until you see a red building, which is the Song Zhuang Art Museum (Or, take bus route 938--branch 9 at Bei Wan.
